Printed vinyl along the doors, sized for the road

Body sides carry the month’s event, a cause the store backs or the store’s own name along the doors. A standard piece prints at about 58 × 17 inches.

What they carry

What a body side carries

01

The month’s event

Memorial Day, the 4th of July, Black Friday: the same event as the windshields, along the doors.

02

A cause the store backs

A food and toy drive, a sponsorship, a team. The store’s name and the cause’s, side by side.

03

The store’s own line

Your name, your website or the line you’re known for, on the cars that sit on the frontage.

04

A value-add

A lifetime warranty or a maintenance plan, on the cars it comes with.

How we size and set it

Lettered for the road

A body side is read from the road more than from the aisle, so we size its lettering for passing drivers.

Questions

About body sides

Are body sides magnets?

Almost never. Nearly all the body sides we print are vinyl applied to the paint. They’re cut at the door gap, so the doors still open.

Where does a body side go?

On an SUV, a standard piece runs level along the doors, centred between the front handle and the lower crease, with paint showing above and below it. It starts a few inches behind the front door’s leading edge and ends about halfway along the rear door.

Can a body side match the windshield?

Yes. Event body sides print as a set with the windshield pieces, from the same artwork, so the doors and the glass say the same thing.
